Gaze down from the ramparts of Dynefwr or Dryswlyn Castles, or from the top of Paxton’s Tower, sweep your eyes across the Tywi Valley as it spreads out around you from the East to the West.
Those of us who love nature, and the birds, and the outlines of the hills that line the valley floor and make this such a beautiful, unique and iconic landscape, this “Garden of Wales”, know.
That it is a universal, indisputable fact: The Tywi Valley IS Beauty! And Beauty, as John Keats once poeticised, “is truth… that is all ye know on earth and all ye need to know”.
There really is no debate.
